Raymond Folsom Killed in Malheur County Crash on SR 95
Malheur County, Oregon – One person was killed in a car crash that left two other people injured in Malheur County on Friday morning.
The accident happened at around 5:36 a.m. on Highway 95 near milepost 65, according to the Oregon State Police.
74-year-old Raymond Leroy Folsom, of Buckeye (AZ), was driving a gray Toyota Prius northbound, followed by a red 2017 Volvo semi-truck operated by 36-year-old Gregory Edward Hunt, of Caldwell (ID).
The Prius pulled over to the shoulder and was attempting to make a U-turn to travel southbound when it was struck by the Volvo.
Raymond was killed in the accident.
Hunt was seriously injured in the accident and was flown to the hospital for treatment.
76-year-old Virginia Louise Folsom and 51-year-old John Todd Folsom, both of Buckeye (AZ), were riding in the Prius and were transported to Saint Alphonsus Medical Center for treatment.
