Modesto, California – Richard Brown lll, 37, has been identified as the man who died in a pedestrian accident that happened in Modesto on Saturday evening.
The accident was reported at around 7:20 p.m. on McHenry Avenue between Sylvan and Woodrow avenues.
A Modesto woman was driving a Ford Fiesta southbound on McHenry when she struck the pedestrian.
Brown suffered major injuries and was transported to an area hospital where she died.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
