Rider Airlifted After Victorville Motorcycle Crash on Bear Valley Rd
Victorville, California: A motorcyclist was airlifted to the hospital after colliding with a car Monday afternoon in Victorville, police said.
The accident was reported around 3:20 p.m. on Bear Valley Road, just west of Hesperia Road.
A witness said the crash happened when an SUV pulled out of the Goodwill driveway and hit the motorcyclist. The rider was thrown into the air and landed in the roadway. The victim was screaming out in a lot of pain after the crash.
Emergency personnel from the Victorville City Fire Department requested a helicopter to respond and transport the rider to the hospital. Helicopter Reach 43 landed at nearby Desert Valley Hospital and airlifted the patient to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
Police are investigating the accident.
