Motorcyclist Suffers Severe Injuries in Traffic Collision on Ingraham Street in Pacific Beach
Rider in Serious Condition After Pacific Beach Motorcycle Crash
Pacific Beach, California: A 40-year-old man was hospitalized in serious condition after his motorcycle collided with a car Friday afternoon in Pacific Beach.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the accident occurred around 5:05 p.m. in the 4600 block of Ingraham Street.
Authorities said the man was riding a 2023 Kawasaki R1 northbound on Ingraham, and a 23-year-old woman was driving a 2020 Nissan Altima, exiting an alley onto Ingraham.
The woman attempted to turn left onto Ingraham when the vehicles collided.
The motorcyclist was hospitalized with abdominal hemorrhaging and compound fractures to his left wrist and left humerus. The injuries were considered life-threatening.
Police are investigating the crash but do not believe drugs or alcohol contributed to the collision.
