Rider Killed in Lincoln Motorcycle Accident on SR 65 at Nelson Lane
Lincoln, California – A motorcyclist died after colliding with a car at an intersection in Lincoln last Friday.
The accident happened at the intersection of Highway 65 and Nelson Lane at around 5:39 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A 25-year-old motorcyclist was riding a 2005 Yamaha and was making a left turn at the intersection when he was struck by a 2007 Lexus traveling westbound on Nelson Lane.
The rider was transported to Sutter Roseville Medical Center, where he succumbed to injuries.
The Lexus driver complained of pain but was not hospitalized.
