San Jacinto, California – A rider was killed following a motorcycle crash on Thursday morning in San Jacinto, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly collision occurred at about 7:40 a.m. at East Seventh and Hewitt streets.
The CHP officials said a sedan and a motorcycle crashed for reasons yet to be determined.
The impact of the crash threw the rider off his bike.
The Riverside County Fire Department medical personnel responded to the scene and declared the rider dead at the crash site.
The car driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital.
