Rider Killed in Tracy Motorcycle Accident on Patterson Pass Road
Tracy, California – A 60-year-old man from Manteca died in a motorcycle accident on Thursday evening in Tracy.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 5 p.m. on Patterson Pass Road near Interstate 580.
The Manteca man was riding a 2023 Harley Davidson motorcycle northbound on Patterson Pass Road when a southbound 2017 Hyundai driven by a 59-year-old Atwater man made a left-hand U-turn directly in his path.
The vehicles collided and the impact of the crash ejected the rider from the bike.
The Manteca man was rushed to San Joaquin General Hospital, where he later died.
More details about the crash were not provided.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
