Samantha Ramirez Killed in Tempe Car Accident on US 60 at I-10
Tempe, Arizona – 23-year-old Samantha Ramirez has been identified as the woman who died in a wrong-way crash on Sunday night in Tempe.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety says the accident happened at around 11 p.m. at the interchange of US 60 to Interstate 10.
Ramirez was driving a car eastbound on westbound the westbound lanes when she collided with another vehicle.
Ramirez suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the second vehicle was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
