According to online hints, Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2022 — the launch event where we could see the debut of the Galaxy S22 series — will take place on February 9th. Last Monday, the South Korean behemoth confirmed that it stages its next Galaxy Unpacked event in February, maintaining a trend it started a few years ago.
Samsung, on the other hand, has been tight-lipped about the specific launch date. In addition to the allusions to the February 9th release date, the pricing of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series in Europe has surfaced online. The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra specifications have resurfaced online, this time with more information.
Samsung recently tipped the Galaxy Unpacked 2022 schedule. A reservation link for the Galaxy Unpacked event got included in the advertisement. According to the user, after completing the reservation using the link, Samsung displayed a pop-up notification confirming the launch will take place on February 9 at 10 a.m. ET (8:30 p.m. IST).
In the same Reddit thread, a screenshot got released with allusions to the rumored Galaxy Unpacked schedule.
Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked 2022 website also briefly hinted at its schedule, according to @TechInsiderBlog, a Twitter tipster. Calendar invites for Google, Outlook, and Yahoo got purportedly included on the site in question. The event got scheduled to begin at 15:00 UTC (8:30 IST) on February 9. That is at the same time as the message confirming registration for the event from the Instagram ad, according to the invite.
According to some reports, the Galaxy Unpacked would take place on February 8, but the February 9 date could get reserved for a separate China launch.
Gadgets 360 does not confirm the claimed Galaxy Unpacked 2022 release dates. Samsung has yet to make an official announcement about the event schedule.
