San Leandro Semi-Truck Crash on I-880 Sends One Person to Hospital with Severe Injuries
San Leandro, California: The California Highway Patrol said one person was sent to the hospital with major injuries after an SUV collided with a semi-truck Tuesday morning in San Leandro.
The accident took place around 8:30 a.m. on the southbound Interstate 880 near Interstate 238.
CHP officers and firefighters responded to the scene to find a blue Ford Expedition and a white big rig involved in the wreck.
One person had major lacerations to the forehead. The patient was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The cause and manner of the collision were unknown at the time of the report.
