San Jose, California: A man died after being struck by a car Sunday evening in San Jose.
San Jose police said the accident took place around 7:40 p.m. in the 500 block of Saratoga Avenue near Highway 280.
The report did not give details about the manner of the collision the man died at the scene.
Investigators closed southbound Saratoga Avenue between Kiely Boulevard and Moorpark Avenue for about two hours following the crash.
