Serious Injury Crash on Interstate 5 in Bellingham
Bellingham, Washington: At least one person was severely hurt in a car versus motorcycle accident that happened Wednesday afternoon in Bellingham, police said.
The accident took place around 12:51 p.m. on Interstate 5, south of Sunset Drive.
Responding police officers found a motorcycle and a car involved in an accident.
At least one person suffered major injuries in the collision.
I-5 was shut down in both directions following the crash. Northbound traffic was backed up to Lakeway Drive and southbound traffic was backed up past Meridian Street as of 1:15 p.m.
