Several Injured After Truck Slams into McDonald’s in Hollister

Hollister, California: Multiple people were injured when a truck crashed into a McDonald’s Building on Airline Highway Thursday afternoon.

Authorities said at around 12:37 p.m., the male adult driver of a truck pulled into the mobile pickup parking spot and thought he had parked. The vehicle kept going and crashed into the building.

Three people in the building and two inside the truck were injured. All the victims self-transported to the hospital.

Police said impairment was not a contributing factor.

The McDonald’s was expected to remain closed until repairs were finished.
