Skateboarder Fatally Hit by Car in Roseville
Roseville, California: A man riding a skateboard died after being struck by a car Tuesday night in Roseville, the Roseville Police Department said.
The crash was reported around 9:14 p.m. on Blue Oaks Boulevard near Roseville Parkway.
Police said a 32-year-old man was riding a skateboard in the area when he was hit by a vehicle under unclear circumstances.
The victim was taken to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The driver involved stopped and cooperated with authorities.
Alcohol or drugs were not thought to be factors.
Investigators closed eastbound Blue Oaks Boulevard at Roseville Parkway as they investigated.
