Stacey Woienski Dies in Head-On Collision on Arnold Drive in Sonoma Valley
Sonoma Valley, California – Stacey Woienski, 44, of El Verano, has been identified as the woman who died following a head-on collision that happened in Sonoma Valley on Tuesday evening.
The crash happened on Arnold Drive north of Leveroni Road at around 7:25 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Stacey was driving a 2003 Chevy Silverado pickup truck southbound on Arnold Drive when she drifted across the double lines and collided head-on with a Ford Ranger pickup truck driven by a 32-year-old Sonoma resident.
Woienski was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The second driver was airlifted to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment of major injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
