Tate and Evie Porter Sustain Fatal Injuries After Mesa Crash on Loop 202 near McKellips Road
Mesa, Arizona – The Arizona Department of Public Safety has identified Tate and Evie Porter as the two kids killed in a traffic collision involving a tow truck in Mesa.
The deadly crash occurred at about 10:15 a.m. October 23 on Loop 202 near McKellips Road.
According to ADPS, a pickup truck crashed into the side of a tow truck for unknown reasons. The woman driving the pickup, 36 years, was with her three children in the car at the time.
Two children, Tate and Evie were declared dead at the crash site.
A third child, and the mother sustained injuries ranging from minor to severe degree and were hospitalized.
The tow truck driver was unhurt in the crash.
Authorities closed westbound lanes of the free for several hours to give way to an on-scene investigation.
