Teenager Killed in Chandler Car Accident near Hunt Highway and Arizona Avenue
Chandler, Arizona (May 10, 2023) – According to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office deputies, an 18-year-old died while receiving treatment at the hospital on Tuesday evening following a traffic collision that injured eight persons on Saturday morning in Chandler.
The accident occurred near Hunt Highway and Arizona Avenue at about 5:30 a.m. on May 6.
Police said a truck and a sedan collided for unknown reasons.
Six persons riding in the truck and two in the sedan were injured and taken to the hospital.
The teen died while receiving treatment at the hospital. A 16-year-old and a 49-year-old were hospitalized with serious injuries, while five others suffered minor injuries.
Further details concerning this collision were not released.
