North Highlands, California – A teenage girl was hospitalized with major injuries after being struck by a car while going to school in North Highlands on Monday morning.
The accident happened on Hillsdale Boulevard near Palm Avenue at around 8 a.m.
The girl reportedly crossed the street and was hit by a car driven by a man in his 20s.
The California Highway Patrol said the girl suffered major injuries and was rushed to hospital by the paramedics.
