Teen Killed in Baldwin Hills Crash on La Brea Avenue near Coliseum Street

Los Angeles, California – A teenager was killed in a suspected DUI car crash that left two other people injured on Friday night in Baldwin Hills.

The deadly crash was reported at around 11:45 p.m. on La Brea Avenue near Coliseum Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A vehicle was traveling southbound on La Brea when it made a left turn in front of a second car traveling northbound on La Brea Avenue.

An 18-year-old Hispanic male driver of the second car was transported to the hospital, where he died while receiving treatment.

Two 17-year-old female passengers in the second car were transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Authorities believe that the driver of the southbound vehicle was possibly under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
