Teen Killed Last Month in Pocket Bike Crash in Delano Identified
Delano, California: The Kern County Sheriff’s Office identified the teen who died after being struck by a car while riding a pocket bike in Delano as Adam Amador Cuevas.
The 16-year-old Delano resident was involved in the crash on September 30 on Cecil Avenue east of Driver Road.
Authorities said Cuevas was riding a pocket bike when he was struck by a 2019 Ford driven by a 17-year-old.
The Ford continued in a north-westerly direction after the first impact, hitting a wooden pole and coming to a stop in a dirt field.
Cuevas died at the scene at 7:36 p.m.
