Teen Motorcyclist Killed in Tucson Crash

Tucson, Arizona: A 17-year-old motorcyclist died after colliding with a car Sunday afternoon at Sandario Road and West Desert Wren Drive in Picture Rocks.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department said the collision occurred just after 4 p.m.

Authorities said the motorcyclist was traveling north on Sandario Road when the driver of a southbound Chevrolet Trailblazer attempted to turn left onto West Desert Wren Drive and hit the teenager.

Medical personnel transported the victim to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The teen died while receiving treatment.

The driver of the Trailblazer, 42-year-old Martin Craig, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by a moving violation.

Authorities are investigating the accident.
