Teen Seriously Injured in E-Bike Collision in Millbrae
Millbrae, California: A 13-year-old teenager riding an e-bike was seriously injured after colliding with a truck Tuesday afternoon near an intersection in Millbrae.
According to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place around 3 p.m. near El Camino Real and Taylor Boulevard.
Authorities said a 13-year-old was riding an e-bike northbound on El Camino Real when he slammed into the back of a box truck.
Emergency personnel responded and transported the seriously injured teen to a hospital with serious injuries.
The truck driver stopped and cooperated with investigators.
