Toddler Fatally Struck by Car on Adobe Road in Bakersfield Identified
Bakersfield, California: 2-year-old Esmeralda Garcia Espinoza was identified as the victim who was fatally hit by a car last week in Bakersfield.
According to the Kern County Coroner’s Office, the toddler was hit by a vehicle in a driveway on a private property on Adobe Road near Highway 223.
The incident happened on May 10.
Authorities said Espinoza was in a driveway when she was hit by a truck entering the driveway.
Police said alcohol and drugs were not contributing factors.
