Trevor McGill Identified as Motorcyclist Killed in Accident on Bear Valley and Savage Lane
Apple Valley, California (September 16, 2023) – The rider killed following a motorcycle collision on Thursday night in Apple Valley has been identified as 23-year-old Trevor A. McGill of Apple Valley.
The crash happened on Bear Valley Road and Savage Lane, east of Deep Creek Road, at about 10:37 p.m. on September 14.
Police said McGill was heading eastbound on Bear Valley Road from Deep Creek Road when he crashed into a westbound Toyota Corolla turning left onto Savage Lane from Bear Valley Road.
The crash impact caused McGill to be thrown off the motorcycle.
McGill died in the collision.
The Toyota driver, a 32-year-old woman, was unhurt. She remained at the accident location and was cooperative.
For four hours, authorities closed Bear Valley Road between Deep Creek Road and Mockingbird Avenue.
No additional details regarding the incident were released.
An investigation is ongoing.

Sacramento County, California: Two people were seriously injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Thursday afternoon at an intersection in Antelope.
According to the Sacramento Metro Fire District, the accident occurred around 1:50 p.m. at Antelope and Roseville roads.
Three vehicles collided, trapping two occupants in the wreckage.
Firefighters responded to the scene and freed the victims. The patients were taken to the hospital with major injuries.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.

Irvine, California: 65-year-old Kenneth Joseph McLeod died after he collided with a car while riding a motorcycle Wednesday afternoon at an intersection in Irvine.
The accident was reported around 4:50 p.m. at Alton Parkway and Foster.
Investigators said McLeod was riding a motorcycle southbound on Alton when he ran a red light at Foster and crashed into a Tesla turning left from northbound Alton onto westbound Foster.
The Tesla had a green light at the time of the crash.
McLeod died at the scene from the injuries he sustained in the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.

Woman on Motorized Wheelchair Hit and Injured by Car in Victorville
Victorville, California: A woman riding a motorized wheelchair was injured when she was hit by a car Thursday morning at an intersection in Victorville.
The accident was reported around 8:48 a.m. at Roy Rogers Drive and Amargosa Road.
Victorville police, firefighters, and AMR responded to the scene.
The victim was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
A man driving a black Nissan was found at the scene but it was not clear if he was the driver involved in the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
