Two Killed in Pittsburg Car Crash Identified
Pittsburg, California: Authorities identified the two people who were ejected and killed in a crash between a pickup truck and a sedan as Virginia Lopez, of El Sobrante, and Recadeo Valdez, 27, of Pittsburg.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pair was traveling in a GMC pickup truck on June 30th eastbound on Highway 4 in Pittsburg.
At around 8:15 p.m., the truck collided with a Volkswagen sedan near the Bailey Road exit.
Both Lopez and Valdez were ejected from the truck.
Emergency personnel rushed the two victims to the hospital, where they died from their injuries.
The sole occupant of the sedan was unhurt.
The collision remained under investigation.
