Tyretta Yazzie Killed in Phoenix Pedestrian Accident at 51st and Glenrosa
Phoenix, Arizona – 41-year-old Tyretta Yazzie was killed in a pedestrian accident early Tuesday morning in Phoenix.
The fatal collision was reported at around 4:45 a.m. near 51st and Glenrosa avenues, according to Phoenix Police Department.
Yazzie and another man were crossing the street and were hit by a vehicle traveling southbound on 51st Avenue.
Yazzie was transported to the hospital where she died while receiving treatment.
The man suffered minor injuries in the accident.
The motorist stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the authorities. Impairment was not believed to be a factor in the accident.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
