Update: Three Pedestrians Hit, 1 Killed by Car in Oceanside

Oceanside, California: One person died, and two others were injured after they were struck by a vehicle Sunday evening in Oceanside, police said.

The accident happened around 7:30 p.m. in the 4100 block of Oceanside Boulevard near College Boulevard.

Police said three pedestrians were crossing the roadway when they were hit by a gray Toyota Corolla traveling eastbound.

One of the victims died at Tri-City Medical Center, where they were taken for treatment. The other two were hospitalized at Palomar Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Oceanside police said the driver was not impaired and speed was not a contributing factor.

The crash is under investigation by the Oceanside Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team.

Oceanside, California – Three pedestrians were injured after being struck by a vehicle on Sunday night in Oceanside.

The Oceanside Fire Department says the accident happened at 4141 Oceanside Boulevard at around 7:38 p.m.

Three pedestrians were hit by a vehicle in unclear circumstances.

Police say one of the pedestrians suffered life-threatening injuries and the other two had minor to moderate injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
