Vicente Arredondo-Twist and Imber Orduno Killed in Rosamond Crash on Rosamond Boulevard

Rosamond, California – 19-year-old Vicente Antonio Arredondo-Twist and 18-year-old Imber Jahziel Orduno have been identified by the Kern County Coroner’s Office as the two people who died in a collision on Thursday afternoon in Rosamond.

The fatal crash happened on Rosamond Boulevard near 50th Street West at around 2:05 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

Arredondo-Twist was driving a 2007 Nissan sedan eastbound on Rosamond Boulevard at a high rate of speed when he drifted into the opposite lanes and collided with a 2010 Toyota pickup truck driven by a 40-year-old man.

Arredondo-Twist and his passenger, Orduno, were not wearing seatbelts and died.

Police say speed has been determined to be a contributing factor.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
