Violent Head-On Collision Reported at Riverside Intersection; 5 Injured
Riverside, California – Five people were hospitalized after being injured in a head-on collision on Tuesday in Riverside.
The crash happened at Arlington and Stover avenues at around 7:30 a.m., according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Two sedans are reported to have collided head-on in unclear circumstances. Both vehicles were left with major damages after the crash with an engine block being dislodged from one of the vehicles.
Authorities say five people were injured in the crash and were taken to the hospital. Some of the patients had critical injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation
