Cochise County, Arizona – A 60-year-old man from Texas was killed in a collision allegedly caused by a sleepy driver on Wednesday evening in Cochise County.
At around 4 p.m., the Arizona Department of Public Safety received reports of a traffic collision on Highway 80 near Curtis Flat Road.
A sleepy driver reportedly drifted into oncoming traffic and collided with three other vehicles.
60-year-old Walter Koricanek, of Goliad, Texas, died at the accident scene.
Several other people were injured in the crash and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
The driver who caused the crash was not impaired.
