West Phoenix Crash Involving Fire Engine Sends 3 to Hospital
Phoenix, Arizona: A firefighter and two other persons were hospitalized after a traffic collision involving a fire engine that happened Tuesday afternoon in Phoenix.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, a Phoenix Fire truck collided with a car just after 5 p.m. near 70th Avenue and Indian School Road.
The fire truck went off the roadway and crashed into a carport with cars underneath at a nearby apartment complex.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported one firefighter and two other persons to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A separate traffic crash occurred in the area, but no one was injured.
