San Diego, California – William Benjamin Koch, 31, has been identified as the pedestrian who died after being struck by a car in San Diego on Saturday night.
The fatal crash happened at around 9:21 p.m. on Highway 94 near 28th Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Denver man was attempting to cross the freeway when he was hit by a silver Silverado.
The man was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The Silverado man was unhurt. He remained at the accident scene and cooperated with the authorities.
