Woman, 2 Children Injured in Pocket Pedestrian Crash

Sacramento, California: A woman and two children were hospitalized after a car veered off the roadway and hit them Thursday evening in the Pocket area of Sacramento.

According to the Sacramento Police Department, the accident was reported around 6:07 p.m. on Pocket Road near Greenhaven Drive.

A driver was traveling down the road when, for an unknown reason, the car veered off the roadway and hit the pedestrians.

The woman was hospitalized in critical condition, and the children with non-life-threatening injuries.

Eastbound Pocket Road was closed between Green Have and Dutra Blend drives following the collision.
