Woman Suffers Fatal Injuries After DUI Stockton Collision on Quail Lakes Drive and North Pershing Avenue
Stockton, California – A woman suffered fatal injuries after an alleged DUI crash on Sunday morning near a Stockton intersection.
According to the Stockton Police Department, the collision happened at around 1:00 a.m. near Quail Lakes Drive and North Pershing Avenue.
Police confirmed a 22-year-old woman was driving near the junction when a second vehicle broadsided her.
The 22-year-old driver was rushed to the hospital where she died.
The second driver, 24-year-old Estrella Preciosa Pantoja, was arrested and booked into the San Joaquin County Jail for DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter
An investigation is underway.
