Woman Dies After Truck Driver Runs Red Light, Hits SUV in Kingman

Kingman, Arizona: 19-year-old Lacey Lynn Gale died when the driver of a truck ran a red light and hit her SUV Wednesday evening near an intersection in Kingman.

According to the Kingman Police Department, the wreck occurred around 8 p.m. near North Stockton Hill Road and Kino Avenue.

Police said Gale was driving an SUV and attempted to make a left-hand turn on North Stockton Hill Road from Kino Avenue when a 20-year-old Kingman man driving a truck southbound on Stockton Hill Road failed to stop for the red light and hit the SUV.

Emergency personnel took Gale to Kingman Regional Medical Center, where she died from her injuries.

The truck driver was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators said they will file charges against the driver once they conclude their investigation.
