Woman Dies in Crash Involving Fuel Tanker on Loop 202 in Phoenix
Phoenix, Arizona: A woman died in a collision involving a fuel tanker that happened Monday night in Phoenix, the Arizona Department of Public Safety reported.
The accident occurred around 10:38 p.m. on the South Mountain Loop 202 near Buckeye Road.
Authorities said a woman was driving a small SUV when she rear-ended a commercial fuel tanker.
The woman died from injuries sustained in the crash.
The tanker sustained minor damage but did not experience any fuel leakage.
Investigators closed the Buckeye Road off-ramp and the lane next to it following the accident.
