Woman Dies in Multi-Vehicle Collision in East Los Angeles
East Los Angeles, California: A woman died, and another person was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision that happened early Tuesday morning in East Los Angeles.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident was reported around 12:15 a.m. near East Olympic Boulevard and South Vancouver Avenue.
Police said two vehicles were involved in an initial crash, and then they careened into at least five other parked cars. A pickup truck reportedly ended up on top of another vehicle.
A woman was killed in the accident.
One other person was taken to a hospital in unknown condition.
One person was arrested at the scene for an unknown traffic violation.
Investigators are trying to establish the cause of the collision.
