Woman Dies in Pedestrian Accident near Marconi and Eastern Avenues in Sacramento County
Sacramento County, California: A pedestrian died after being hit by a car Wednesday evening near an intersection in Arden-Arcade, the California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred around 8:50 p.m. near Marconi and Eastern avenues.
According to authorities, a Tesla was traveling westbound on Marconi Avenue when it struck a woman crossing the street from north to south.
The pedestrian died in the accident.
The driver stopped and stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
