Woman Fatally Hit by Pickup Truck in Pine Valley Identified
Pine Valley, California: 61-year-old Mary Lombard Steward of Pine Valley died after she was struck by a pickup truck Saturday morning in Pine Valley.
Brian Stewart, the victim’s husband, said she was walking to their house on Valley View Trail when she was struck.
The accident happened around 11:07 a.m. along Pine Boulevard south of Rocky Pass.
Stewart was walking south on Pine when a 2016 Ford F-550 driven by a 36-year-old Pine Valley man drifted onto the shoulder and hit her.
The pedestrian died from her injuries.
The investigation is being investigated by the authorities.
