Scottsdale, Arizona – The Scottsdale Police is investigating a deadly crash that killed a female pedestrian on Saturday night in Scottsdale.
The deadly crash happened near Scottsdale and Thunderbird Roads on July 13.
Police said a woman was walking on the sidewalk when she walked on the streets for reasons yet to be known. She was then struck by a car.
The pedestrian died at the accident location. Her name was not immediately released.
The involved motorist did not flee the crash site. They remained at the scene and were cooperative.
Police did not suspect alcohol or drugs to have played a role in the crash.
