Woman Hit and Seriously Injured by Car in Goleta
Goleta, California: A woman was injured in a pedestrian accident that happened Sunday morning at an intersection in Old Town Goleta, authorities said.
The Santa Barbara County Fire Department responded to Hollister and Nectarine avenues after receiving reports of the accident around 9:45 a.m.
The firefighters found a woman with serious injuries after she was hit by a Toyota pickup truck.
The patient was taken by American Medical Response ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment.
No other details were given, but an investigation is ongoing.
