Petaluma, California – A pedestrian suffered major injuries after being hit by a car in Petaluma on Sunday, June 4.
The auto-pedestrian accident occurred at Candlewood Drive and North McDowell Boulevard at around 9:16 a.m., according to a report by Petaluma police.
A vehicle was traveling southbound on North McDowell Boulevard and was attempting to make a left turn onto Candlewood Drive when it struck a woman.
The unidentified woman suffered major injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The driver stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the authorities.
