Woman Hit, Killed by Vehicle in Downtown Santa Rosa
Santa Rosa, California: A woman is dead after she was hit by a vehicle Tuesday morning in Santa Rosa.
The Santa Rosa Police Department said the accident was reported around 6:16 a.m. on College Avenue near Orchard Street.
The woman was crossing the street when a car hit her for an unknown reason.
Police said the pedestrian later succumbed to serious injuries sustained in the accident.
Investigators closed College Avenue near Orchard Street following the collision.
