Woman Hospitalized After Being Hit by SUV in San Diego
San Diego, California: A 55-year-old woman was hospitalized after she was struck by an SUV Saturday evening in San Diego’s Little Italy.
The incident took place around 6:45 p.m. at State Street and W. Cedar Street.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the woman was walking southbound on State Street when she attempted to cross W. Cedar Street in an unmarked crosswalk.
At the same time, a 53-year-old man driving a 2003 GMC Yukon westbound on W. Cedar Street stopped for the stop sign at the intersection but did not notice the pedestrian.
The driver continued and hit the pedestrian.
The woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
SDPD Traffic Division is investigating the accident.

2 People Seriously Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash in Antelope
Sacramento County, California: Two people were seriously injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Thursday afternoon at an intersection in Antelope.
According to the Sacramento Metro Fire District, the accident occurred around 1:50 p.m. at Antelope and Roseville roads.
Three vehicles collided, trapping two occupants in the wreckage.
Firefighters responded to the scene and freed the victims. The patients were taken to the hospital with major injuries.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.
65-Year-Old Kenneth Joseph McLeod Dies in Irvine Crash at Alton Parkway and Foster
Kenneth Joseph McLeod Killed in Irvine Motorcycle Accident
Irvine, California: 65-year-old Kenneth Joseph McLeod died after he collided with a car while riding a motorcycle Wednesday afternoon at an intersection in Irvine.
The accident was reported around 4:50 p.m. at Alton Parkway and Foster.
Investigators said McLeod was riding a motorcycle southbound on Alton when he ran a red light at Foster and crashed into a Tesla turning left from northbound Alton onto westbound Foster.
The Tesla had a green light at the time of the crash.
McLeod died at the scene from the injuries he sustained in the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
Woman Hospitalized After Victorville Pedestrian Accident at Roy Rogers Drive and Amargosa Road
Woman on Motorized Wheelchair Hit and Injured by Car in Victorville
Victorville, California: A woman riding a motorized wheelchair was injured when she was hit by a car Thursday morning at an intersection in Victorville.
The accident was reported around 8:48 a.m. at Roy Rogers Drive and Amargosa Road.
Victorville police, firefighters, and AMR responded to the scene.
The victim was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
A man driving a black Nissan was found at the scene but it was not clear if he was the driver involved in the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
