The collision was reported around 3 p.m. in the 3000 block of North Lake Hollywood Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two vehicles were involved in the crash. The collision ignited a quarter-acre brush fire that was extinguished by the firefighters.
A woman suffered minor injuries in the crash and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
