Oakhurst, California – A woman suffered major injuries after being struck by a car on Friday morning in Oakhurst.
The pedestrian accident happened at around 8:30 a.m. on Highway 41 near Highway 49, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The woman was walking in the crosswalk when she was hit by the truck that was making a turn from Highway 49 onto Highway 41.
The woman suffered major injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
