Woman Injured in Point Loma Bicycle Accident on Point Loma Boulevard
San Diego, California (November 1, 2023) – A bicyclist was seriously injured after being struck by a car in Point Loma on Monday night.
The bicycle accident happened around 10 p.m. on West Point Loma Boulevard, according to the San Diego Police Department.
A 41-year-old woman was riding a bicycle in the area and was struck by a Lexus.
The woman suffered major but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Alcohol and drugs are not believed to be a contributing factor to the incident.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
