Prunedale, California – A pregnant woman was hospitalized after being injured in a car accident in Prunedale on Saturday evening.
The accident was reported around 6 p.m. on northbound Highway 101 near Pesante Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Three cars were recovered at the scene of the accident. The circumstances of the collision, however, were not immediately established.
An eight-month-pregnant woman was injured in the accident and was transported to Natividad Medical Center for treatment.
