Woman Killed, 2 Children Injured in Pomona Car Crash
Pomona, California: A woman died, and two children were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision that happened early Wednesday morning in Pomona.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pileup was reported at about 12:32 a.m. on the westbound 10 Freeway at Fairplex Drive.
First responders found a blue car overturned after colliding with at least two other vehicles.
A woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two children, aged 3 and 5, were taken to the hospital and were expected to survive.
All westbound 10 Freeway lanes remained shut down during an investigation.
