Woman Killed, 2 Seriously Injured in Laveen Car Crash
Phoenix, Arizona: A woman died, and two others were seriously injured in a rollover collision that happened early Saturday morning in Laveen.
Police said the crash occurred on 35th Avenue south of Baseline Road near Cesar Chavez Park.
Two vehicles collided, and one overturned.
Police said a woman was driving one of the cars north on 35th when she crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a southbound vehicle.
One person, only identified as a woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two others suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police believe intoxication was a contributing factor.
An investigation is ongoing.
